possibilities..a sunday morning observation

There are those mornings when one wakes up and one knows exactly what its all about. When clarity of mind, that has been hiding behind a fuzziness irritating, makes its appearance once again.
The task at hand, that had been a goal set some time back, had taken a second seat for life becomes overwhelming in its immediate demands of issues that need instant attention. A realisation that no matter how super human and efficient one may think one is, there are limitations to what is possible and none of us were born to be a god.
That slow progression back to reality where guilt has no place for failure to sort out matters as precisely as one would have wished.
To be thankful for logic, to be thankful for reason, to be thankful for those that know to pick one up with a word or two in their honest share of their opinion, knowing it may not be exactly what one wants to hear but, needs to be said.

As humans, we shall be challenged with matters of the heart that tear and pull us in many directions. Our loyalty, our respect, our integrity demanding of us to apply and share of ourselves in matters of love for family, friends, social well-being of others and much more. At one point or another, when one has been with ones head against the wall over and over and over.....no matter how hard one may fight....nothing changes...then the answer may be there.

Having a conversation with a dear acquaintance yesterday, he shared that his mantra in life is to live and let live, no matter the circumstance. I did confront him, for to be the devils advocate, to philosophise, is something i cannot turn my back on....
There are instances where the selfish preservation of oneself may outweigh the need to take action... where danger to ones well-being, where time no longer belongs to one, where one will be the scapegoat for speaking up, where ones own progression will be put on hold...makes one turn ones back on a selfless participation in rectifying  a situation presented dire.

is that why one could say...there are very few true Hero's on Mother Earth? is it  correct to say there are fewer and fewer Good Samaritans among us?

An unfair statement?

....i am not sure about that.....but then again....

RB.
