a Saturday eve spent blue
And there it was.
This small blue creature bought in a sweet shop.
Sweeter than any sweet wrapped in candy paper.
The appeal to the innocent child within. a yearning to be silly. And thus through the mall, the little blue creature, an elephant and i, walked, being gazed upon by many for i clutched it like the 'bestest' friend of mine.
And willing to see if it had any wisdom to share i sat and a conversation held, its blue trunk caressing my neck.
Did it matter what may have transpired? Not at all.For in its silliness, the silence of a conversation imagined, was a perfect remedy letting go of a world burdened with responsibility.
Did it matter the glances in my direction? Not at all. Did i acknowledge the smiles received...oh most definitely yes. What could their thoughts have been...and if they thought me silly...at least i bought a smile to their face. :)
