the lessons he learnt

Sometime the way forward needs a most unexpected yet, welcome dalliance, to remind one of the true value of others...

"...she had let him see a world full of wonders, that, in reality were a norm. A realisation of self and the ability to relax within . To let go of the fear that maybe his needs may not be acceptable to others. Only to find out, in knowing to let go, in knowing to express, in knowing to give and receive, the probabilities of reaching a sensual state of mind with a loved one, was near guaranteed.
He learnt patience through touch, a playful state of mind, titillating the body of a lover through meaningful hugs, sincere smiles, whispers inviting.
He learnt to hear and recognise feelings, a deeper understanding of things unsaid yet, expressed through look and body. He began, for the first time, in a long time, to realise how numbed he had become to the world of feelings. He watched and absorbed every lesson she shared with him. Lessons of unrestrained and unrestricted erotic banter and desire  to surrender.
Slowly, but, surely, he began to understand how much he had taken fore granted and allowed to pass him by.
But, with a light step, forward he went, for, he believed, it was never too late to learn. An optimistic type he was. And thus, he smiled, as his wife approached and leaned in to kiss him hello.
His eyes were light, they spoke of a sincerity she had not seen in years.
She allowed herself to melt into him as his hand pressed the nape of her neck and drew her in, closer. She knew they would fall in love again...and this time round it would be forever.
And as their lips met, she thanked the angels that had shown them their way back to each other.
And he...he remembered and smiled and thanked his guardian angel who taught him how to love again..."
