when a specialist is the best resort






How reliant we are on technology. How little we know how things work and rely on the specialists to do it for us. And here I make reference to our computers.


When a tool of one’s profession breaks down, the first reaction…potentially…is disbelief. Then frustration and a lot of swearing…then desperation…and lastly the realisation that there may be a problem and the experts need to be called in.


But, before the team of specialists get called, there is a last attempt at trying to sort the issue out, through ones meagre general knowledge and understanding and resort to the internet,  phoning friends and acquaintances asking them if they may have any idea as to what could be the issue.


The worst case scenario is trying to fix the problem and actually making it a down right mess, causing the eventual invoice to be an exorbitant amount, refusing to admit that one be part of the problem….more like the biggest part of the problem and why the invoice now happens to be at least 40% more than initially anticipated.


So best to ensure the correct experts are called and the problem dealt with expediently and efficiently.


How set we know to become in our ways…I do enjoy my laptop…but my desktop…she knows me well and my eyes know where to search and scan the layout on my screen...


Siiiggghhh….and through much experience I have also learnt, that panicking before the time, truly ain't necessary.
