Have u ever wished upon a lover
a lover imagined
a lover amiss
a story told, one with a twist.

Have u ever lived that wish
a naked truth
a dream come true
a dabbling in a lust affair, something quite new.

Have u ever allowed a moment so deep
all your sanity away to sweep
to sit in the lap of all desired
every nerve in your body intensely wired.

And the thought of that person at your brain gnaws
cold sweat hits within reach of guilt's jaws
yet your body reacts and your eyes dream
and you need them close to blow off steam.

They make you laugh they make you lust
a fresh breeze a welcome gust
they know u well and treat u kind
is that why they say...love is blind.

And then the rude awakening does slap
vast be the dream and reality gap
you know it was a worthy try
but turn your back on it and simply....sigh.
