nakedness

Nakedness. How telling it is of the person. That uncertainty in taking ones clothes off. The unfamiliarity of comfort for others to see us without any protection from a scrutinising eye.
A perception of how one should look created through social media, ever aspiring to the latest fashion or fad of 'Body'. Of course, there is nothing wrong in having a regime strong in health and wellness.
But a mind healthy and mind well is accepting of oneself mentally too. It understands and loves every perfect imperfection of ones body. It does not will unnecessary change and be melancholy of mind should one not be as perfect as the photo-shopped photo of another on a billboard or magazine.
To be naked, a state raw, in the exposure of self, in front of another, should not take courage. It should be a right of expression saying....I love me and i know you will love me too....no matter the sag, the wrinkle, the cellulite, the tummy, the hips broad, the thighs larger, no six pack...
Woman and men, how different we are in our perception of our naked self.
Woman fascinated to the point of destruction as to their looks.
Men more accepting and jovial as to how they may look.
And when sharing a space unfamiliar, in the company of another, where the sole (...even soul) purpose is relaxation, stimulated through touch and sight, then best one knows to let the shackles of self doubt disappear.
Best one knows the importance of sight and kindly look upon ones image reflected in a mirror and best one knows ...to be naked is not taboo when in an environment acceptable.
