i know for a fact that should i have been
when cowgirls and cowboys were everywhere seen
my fame would rest in the bath scenes
at the card tables i would be the queen of queens.

to be a woman self assured
to my boudoir gentlemen lured
of their guns they would be stripped
beneath my pillow secretly slipped.

and thus ply them with much affection
in the tub a sensual connection
while waters warm his body bathe
his mind with insinuation  i would swathe.

and when tired from games and heat
to a card game invite him, intent to beat
and in his ego to show whose boss
at the card table very dear would be his loss.

what a cowgirl i would be
those cowboy movies how i love to see
and the name that to me, would stick
no other than...simply...Maverick.
