what would the news be today
if i the headlines glean what would they say
anything of significance of note to take
or simply discord and annihilation in its wake.

isn't it quite amazing how the news of late
much about Trump and USA's fate
Russia of course in the mix we see
for the one without the other just cannot be.

and even though the request for an exit
for Britain high on the agenda still be Brexit
and as for Merkel and Germany
trying very hard with the super powers to keep company.

isil and terrorism no longer the fascination
this no longer a threat be the insinuation...?
or rather as the USA president the media, on did take
and it be true that most of what they report is fake.

propaganda the key tool since WWll
spin a lie over and over and it becomes true
a shift be taking place in the citizens of the world
demanding the truth to be uncurled.

if one should dig deep and care to know
would it be best the shit to keep covered and not show
for maybe it would be worse than this reality
