to wear a hat like a man.

Imagine to wear a hat like a man

to lazily indulge in self, a fan

unaware any wrong be done

when still asleep and high be the sun.

To know to sit down to a meal

to eat heartily  be the deal

to count calories a total waste

more important the food to eat and taste.

And as the day does slowly unravel

no haste in ones step to the next chore to travel

already plans made for sundowners with friends

messages home to explain those plans he sends.

Now...now...i know i be unfair

this poem one sided that i share

but somehow it still rings true to me

let me don this hat and for myself see.
