a morning shower

 A Morning Shower.

sleep it lingers once we wake

thus to shower sleep off... away to take

this day cloudy yet freshly arisen

the chances of me enjoying it, a definite given.

a shall not a minute spare to ignoring it

but rather absorb it bit by bit

and when it has tired me out at day end

feeling satisfied will be the trend.

how can one not be joyous in ones waking

a morning given for free for our taking

and to not make the most of such a gracious gift

Damn! for sure i will allow it my spirits to Lift!
