to choose the perfect tie

 he asked her for some advise...a tie for him to choose

an event he was looking to attend

where much pomp and ceremony, the great pretend

of chatter without meaning and the abusive flow of booze.

in that case, she thought to herself, the best way would be

the perfect tie for such an event to choose

around her neck to hang and thus the ties hues

from a different angle see.

and while she continued to get lost in which one it should be

he watched from a distance to see

the choice that she would make

the one she would make him take.

but, as he watched her attentiveness

such blissfulness

in something simple as choosing a tie

to the events invitation he decided to say goodbye

and rather the evening spend
